Hello,
I have following problem while starting my Soul (Diesel, manual transmission, produced in December 2009, driven 5000 km (3100 miles))
Precondition: engine fully warmed, then switched off for about 1…2 hours so that before the next start the cooling water temperature is about 40…60 °C (105…140 °F), after that I start engine:
1. Engine starts normally, idling in a condition
2. About 5…6 seconds after starting idling goes low until about 500 rpm for 1…2 seconds.
3. After that engine’s idle increases to its norm.
This happens independently of outdoor temperature and always when described precondition exists. But only once – if I shut down engine after that and start its again it works perfectly. Engine diagnostic test has no information/references about this failure.
Does anybody had described problem or heard about it or have some suggestions?
Thanks a lot in advance.
