Slight squeak in reverse/turning

Hello, I have a 2010 Kia Soul w/ a 5-speead manual transmission. Today I noticed a slight squeak when I was reversing the car. At first i thought it may be the brakes but I heard it with with my foot off the brake pedal. I later heard it while turning and even while driving approx. 10 mph, without my foot on the brakes. It doesn't occur while idling or in neutral.

The car was just inspected a few weeks ago and everything passed. No indicator lights are on either.

Anyone else have a similar problem? Could it be a loose belt?

Usually sticking calliper. Probably just needs cleaning and greasing. Your car is six years old if you have not had brake fluid changed it would be beneficial to drain on all callipers to get fresh fluid every where as well as cleaning and lubricating callipers.

Have you actually looked at the brake pads the wear indicator could very well be making that noise.
