In Ontario we get 8 spaces. You can go on our MTO site and input 3 plate choices at a time and it tells you if they're available, plus gives you a graphic of the plate so you can see exactly what it looks like.

Current cost is $251.65 and then the plate is your's for 99 years. Found the Betty Boop plate for our friend Christine because her whole car is BP themed. Took us ages to find this permutation that was actually available. However, I am totally amazed at some plates that I know are still available.
