The dealership just said the piston rings needed to be replaced, and that their policy is just to replace the entire engine. The worst news is that I can't find maintenance records for two oil changes from 4-5 years ago, so they won't honor the warranty and replace the engine. My car is almost at the end of the warranty at 97,000 miles. 2016 Kia Soul

Just run a Carfax and it will show maintenance on there provided you went to a shop that reports it like most do
