I have dropped several hundred small item from change to medication down the parking brake hole on my center console. I would just like to know if there is an easy DIY way to get the side panels off the console to get at the interior of the parking brake area. I know about the rear console panel, but on my 2011 it is about 5"x2", and I can't even get my hand inside it! Lol. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have done the same thing. The plastic panel under the parking brake handle pops off simple. The console requires you take it out, you can't just pull the side panels (though you can pull them out somewhat to reach your hands in there). I've been able to get everything I've dropped in there by just taking out the parking brake slot cover.
If its the same as my 2012, I have a center console box, open the lid, remove the 4 Philips screws, lift out the whole console tray, then you have 3(?) 10 or 12mm bolts way down inside there, use an extension. remove those bolts and the rear of the console will lift up, should be able to access your spilled items from the back.
