It's in the settings, you can have it stay on in drive up to a certain speed

 

I am no longer concerned about this issue - the camera stays on for a few seconds and doesn't bother me at all (I actually kind of appreciate it). Thanks for your response (I couldn't find it in my settings, but I am happy to let it be the way it is).

 

Read your manual, there are a few other settings often available with the camera view depending on the model. Maybe there's something in there you would like better

 

In reverse you can change the camera settings.

 

I just got a '25 GT too, up from a '17+. I've ALWAYS backed up into parking spaces (habit I picked up from my dad when he was teaching me how to drive) and I noticed when I back up into a spot, then put it in drive to readjust, the backup camera stayed on. I LOVE that! That was a feature I wasn't expecting. My '17 didn't do that. And it had a much smaller screen. I also appreciate the active guide lines, as well.

 

Oh, and the radio volume goes down when you put it in reverse. It's funny because since I've always backed up to park, it became second nature to turn the radio down as I'm getting close to parking. I've always done that so I could hear if anyone honked at me for some reason. Another thing dad taught me. So that's really cool I don't have to do that anymore. Absolutely loving this car!
