2014 2.0l 90,000+
I have noticed MPG slowly moving from low 30s to low 20s.
Mind you, I drive it like the Rally Racer it is.
I had read on these forums about the need to upside clean the valves.
I have used Seafoam a few times, 30,000 intervals. It helped, some.
I read more about GDI motors and the need to also clean/service the injectors, as the fineness of the mist/spray can affect fuel/cylinder burn and MPG.
A side note, we always use TopTier gas.

I've read good things about Royal Purple products.
I found a Royal Purple GDI injector cleaner.
MaxAtomizer is on the label.
It is 6oz bottle for 10-20gal fuel.
The first dose I doubled up.
Two bottles in the 14gal tank.
Then ran the tank to 1/8th mark.
Added One bottle to 10gal fillup.

The 3rd Royal Purple tank we had a scheduled oil change.
I did the Seafoam valve cleaner the sunday before monday oil change.
We are now 5 bottles into Royal Purple treatments.

MPG has noticable improved from low 20s to high 20s.
Hoping MPG continues to climb to previous low 30s with continued treatments.
I will also use the SeaFoam on the next (maybe couple) pre-oil changes.

Best price I could find $3.99, Summit Racing.

You want throttle bottle / GDI spray cleaner. Google CRC brand-name.
BTW..... from what I read onine somewhere, Seafoam is not good at breaking down soot / carbon buildup.

Lastly, it's always a good idea to begin your discussion forwarding us which engine you have and current mileage.
Thanx for the suggestions...

The point of my post...
The valves and the injector are entirely separate,
And need separate cleaning.
What passes through the injectors will not see back sides of the intake the valves.
What passes through the valves will not see the functional parts of the injectors.

Please don't be 'that guy'
I see you go way back to 2020.
Your previous posts include 'spamming' for Shell gasoline.
With a fair number of trollish responses to others.

I explained the anecdotal informative purpose of my post.
Some other forum member's might find the info helpful to them.

Thanx for playing.
