AS I said, here are the pic's of my new (Auto Zone) black and chrome wheel covers.

136331

Here they are, just installed and still sitting in my front yard.

And, here they are, later in the Walmart parking lot, after I bought and applied Meguiar's HOT shine,Tire Coating.
Not a bad looking wheel ,for an econobox. Eh?

This is the first time since I bought this car, that I've detailed it from bumper to bumper. She's clean and looks great.
And, I'm really happy as to how she's turned out.
Cheers mates,

Even in PA, in the winter, tinting the windows is still a worthwhile move!
I've done that with my last five cars, and never regretted it.

I see you got a White Soul, but, is that just plain ol' white, or is it the Pearl White?
Out in the sun, the Pearl White just 'Sparkles'.

Congrat's on the new car! And welcome to the club.

It's Snow White Pearl, you can really see the pearl sparkle when the sun hits it. I think that's why the wife decided against Gravity Gray. I'm going to try to polish and ceramic coat it in the next week or so. Just need a nice day to give it a good wash, deironize and clay it outside before putting it in the garage for a good polish and then coat. Even on a car this small, it's still quite a long process. I picked up some CQuartz for the Soul!

My own Pearl White Soul has never been waxed, coated or otherwise messed around with, and it's as sparkly as the day I drove it home almost two years ago. With the Clear Coat they use these days, wax is not required.
Ya might want to hold off on that for a while.

Careful, I got some flack from some on here for changing out my LEDs.... :laughonfloor

I think the only thing I'll do for my Soul is get some Weathertech mats. Based on what I'm seeing though, they only have the front mats available. I have some seat covers that I'm going to put in place as well. If/when I decide to get back into rideshare, I'm going to cover the car. People are generally animals.
I got Weather Tech front liners, back & cargo area. I had them in my 2018 Soul. I got a 2020 Soul & the front didn't fit but the rest did. They are so worth the money. They come by the year of car, they are laser measured for a perfect fit. Dealership gave me front liners, I gave them the 2018 liners.I live in Minnesota where we have salt & sand in the winter. The carpet underneath looks brand new in each Soul. I'd never have a car without them.

My trip into town today (ten miles on I-75) was akin to the Daytona 500! It was a real nail biter!
Three lanes wide and the Average speed in the High Speed lane was 80+ mph. Even the slow lane was running 75 mph and better.
Jem loved it! To take advantage of an opening in traffic, she can jump from 80 to 100 mph in nothing flat. Sometimes she scares me! Sometimes I make believe I'm driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini. It's all fun!

I sincerely hope that every Soul driver loves their little car as much as I love mine.

Cheers mate!

Loose your Soul? That could be really serious!
But if it's just your car, press the LOCK button on your Key Fob, repeatedly, and your car will honk at you. No Add-Ons required.

Cheers mates,

I took my little Jem for a road trip today. Two lane highway, fairly flat country, and obeying the speed limit.
She showed me an average MPG of 48.5 mpg for the trip.
Not bad for an Econobox. Eh?

Then you're calling KIA a liar! It was the car that showed that to me, not anything else.
It's an accumulated Average, and will go UP as long as I maintain my speed over many miles.
One night on a return trip from Clearwater, FL. (90 miles) my car reported 47.? mpg for the trip, at a sustained speed, (70+ mph) on CC, in 8th gear, with NO stops.
The little Soul is capable of some really great MPG, but just don't stop.
If you don't believe the car's own readout, then just don't look at it. OK?
