Are these the same? Repair manual shows them as different components but when I search for a MOSFET many sites list them as a blower resistor. Kia parts site doesn't even list a Power MOSFET.

I believe if you have the fancy "fully automatic" climate control the circuit would have a MOSFET. A manual 4 speed fan should just have a resistor.
