Hi there!
I need a part number / name of part. That I need to replacing.
I have a 2015 exclaim.
Middle picture is not of my car. I got it of a you tube video.
It is some sort of bushing with grease coming from inside. Its located in the front axle behind the brake rotors. Right by the calipers.
I was replacing the brakes yesterday and saw its condition.
Please help me out here.
thanks in advance.

Those are outer tie rod ends. Go to rock auto and you’ll find a bunch. Don’t buy the cheapest or you’ll be doing it again in 6 months. Or try a Kia parts website like kia.parts if you want OEM.

You’ll need an alignment after replacing them.

No. It slips in through the hole on the knuckle and uses a castle nut to keep it in place.

You may be thinking ball joints and on the 1st gen they are pressed in but on the 2nd gen the ball joints are bolt on too and much easier to replace for a diy’er without a press.

Huh? I've never seen that happen. It's just a wedge, they slide along the knuckle and the old tie rod. Maybe you've used the wrong size, they make them in various sizes. Maybe you used it wrong or thinking of a different tool?
Maybe your thinking of the ball joint not the tie rod end, as you referred to denting the "arm". Tie rods do not attach to the control arm but rather the steering knuckle which are pretty strong made from cast iron.
