Finally done with Fakebook fake ads after getting mislead AGAIN. Are there any actual legitimate car buyer search sites that aren't just mining our info ?

I thought Autotrader was ok. But used that mainly for looking at new car inventory at dealers.
But they post used cars there also.
Not sure how well it works for private owner used cars.
Thanks, will try it. Refer to my original post on this. How does one of our alien green badly faded Souls sustain "severe front end damage, major structural damage", yet faded paint on hood, front clip matches the faded roof, lift gate ? Fake pic obviously.
Fakebook.
Guy didn't know about the wrecks, damage.... buying & selling cars ?

Thanks, tired of these marketing company fake pic ads also. Always a white background, car photoshopped into white background, like pre AI.
I'll check it again though.
Well, when we bought our 2025 Kia Soul at a dealer back in February, several dealers had their cars posted on Autotrader. . . . then I also checked the dealer website for detail and pictures and it all was there.

Kia National Inventory

But, yes, sometimes a dealer will use "stock" photos on websites, but the VIN number and more pics are generally available when clicking on a particular
vehicle.

On Autotrader, when you select a car . . scroll down the page and there will be a section saying - - "More From The Seller " and a small icon box that you can click on and then see more at that dealer site for the car . . . .

If you are looking for new 2025 models, you also can google Kia National Inventory, enter in the zip code where you want to look and even a radius of miles around it.
Then select trim level, etc. . . and that also works very well.

But here is an example of current Autotrader cars - - -

You can shop Carmax and Carvana, but seems to me they are a more expensive route. I found my latest car on Autotrader, advertised by a small indy used car dealer, with a better price. I would not shy away from private party either. Any way you go you need to try and judge if or how honest they are. But don't count on them being honest, or even knowing what they have. Inspect the car, have a mechanic you trust check it out.
