Hi,
New poster here---
Family members car is a 2012+ (124K miles) with the UVO/Infinity system. Battery died on the car and after it was replaced at the dealer, the speakers no longer produce any sound. The head unit turns on, and "beeps" when you touch the screen but no sound out of all of the speakers.
I've checked the fuses for the amp and head unit and they're good at the drivers door. I've done the reset procedure for the radio but it's still not working.
I'm down to replacing the amp or the head unit---but not sure where to start first or how to test to see if that's truly the problem.
I've read a few other topics on here and it seems to point towards the head unit but I've also seen other info that also points to the amp (which JBL? makes...).
As the car has 120K on it and she'd rather not have an aftermarket radio, I'm looking at repairing this myself and not the shop for $150+/hr labor rate.
