Soooo... I have an incredibly stupid question and one I'm kind of embarassed to ask.

My wife has a 2011 (or 2012) Kia Soul. I have new Rain-x Latitude wiper blade to replace her factory ones, but I cannot get the factory ones off no matter what.

It appears to be different from my '13 Kia Optima so I'm having a bit of time. Also not having much luck with google (the pics/videos via google searching, aren't showing the exact type of blade).

Can someone explain how on earth, to take off the factory wiper blades (referring to the ones on the windshield. She doesn't have a rear blade I believe)? With pics if possible.

Thanks in advance and sorry for asking such a silly question!

I'd think they would be the same as your 2013.
But,without actually seeing the blade, what do I know?
Wiper blades only connect one of a few ways. Most I've seen
are the "hook" kind.
Unless you live in a remote area, far from civilization, just go to the
closest car parts joint(Auto Zone,Pep Boys etc). They'll come out
and snap e'm on for you.
Where did you purchase the blades?
Maybe should have had them install?

2011 - page 7/27 in your owners manual it shows you exactly what to do or 7/36 if its a 2012 model. I have the Rain-X Latitude on my vehicle which I got for winter use but now have them on year round.
