WeatherTech is where I got mine. Granter this was for a 2015 and a must have in FL.
I have them and there isn't a blind spot, nice thing is you can open the windows a little when it's raining and stay dryOh, I definitely did not know that. Thank you that's definitely something to consider.
You should ask to see a dealership manager and tell him this outrageous story. While Kia's price on the visors themselves is becoming typical for OEM anything, they are better than what I got on Amazon for my prior car, for which I paid $20 for a pair. They are very simple to install, and if the ones you might get don't come with instructions you can try online. Probably given the inflation of the past few years, Checkers link to $50 ones may be fair.Yeah, I thanked him for his time and walked away. This is the place that I've given all my business to, oil changes, tire rotations etc...I couldn't believe they'd be that obviously rude. I'm sure they got a big laugh at my expense. I wish I could go somewhere else for service and not worry about whether or not it could void my warranty.
I couldn't agree more especially considering this is the 3rd Kia I've purchased from this dealership. This occurred last summer so I think I'll go back and try again, except this time I will speak with management and ask if this is what my business is worth to them. Thank you for your input and the time you took to respond I really appreciate it.You should ask to see a dealership manager and tell him this outrageous story. The real issue for me is that they quoted $300 to install. That was their presuming both your ignorance and lack of concern about money. This is what a manager ought to know about, especially given your loyalty to them, and I imagine they have earned well from you on your purchases. The manager will surely offer to install for free, which is hardly any concession given how overpriced they are (their cost is likely around $50). If I got that offer I would say "that sounds fair if you sell these to me at cost". If he dropped the price in half it may be worth it, as they will most likely be better quality than the knock-offs, and you'll get them installed if you don't feel confident about that part.
If they aren't in such a generous mood, I would not be so polite as you --nor nasty or insulting-- but simply note that, after as much as you spent there it looks like their dealership is no longer a good fit for you.

Labor rates are now $185.00 an hour at Kia dealership$500? I know the labor rate is up but that still has to be multiple hours billed. And they would have the carwash boy do the install in less than an hour I'm sure.
I have a 2010 Soul(just bought it last year and love it) but got these: https://a.co/d/gB5BdTG Easy to install and love them. Lets me keep the front windows open bit on hot days to not build up as much heat and no worries for unexpected rain.I own a 2021 Soul with less than 6000 miles on it. I wanted to put those "wind buffers" (I'm not even sure if that's what they're called, actually I'm sure they're called something else) that you see folks have on their driver and passenger side windows, they go from the top of the window outside and almost to the door. I spoke with a parts dealer at my Kia dealership and he quoted me a price of well over $200 for two, and when asked if they would put them on he said he'd ask a "tech" and came back quoting me a price of $500 to put them both on. Now as you may have guessed I basically know how to start my car and where the gas goes but even for me this seemed outrageous...any thoughts or suggestions?
It does. My contract specifically states I must go to a Kia dealership for all required maintenance or the warranty will be voided. It also states that if you do not do any of the recommended maintenance, like tune ups, oil changes, you void out your warranty.Keeping the warranty does not require going to a dealer or any specific place for maintenance.
That’s not the factory Kia warranty. That’s a dealer’s gimmick warranty. They’ll deny warranty for anything, miss a tire rotation, denied. It does. Is the car a lease? It does. My contract specifically states I must go to a Kia dealership for all required maintenance or the warranty will be voided. It also states that if you do not do any of the recommended maintenance, like tune ups, oil changes, you void out your warranty.
Oh, maybe that is the issue. Normal warranties do not require that.Is the car a lease?
No, I own it...well the bank does.Is the car a lease?
