Thе style of the grille really affects the overall appearance of your vehicle. Check out these E&G Classics grilles for Kia Soul 2012-2013.

We have the polished billet grilles (from Carid) and love the way the car looks. I think the chrome mesh inserts harken back to classic Jaguars and such-like and as such tend to work visually better on darker coloured cars that give good contrast to the chrome. Looks ok on the silver car, but I think they would be more striking on another colour. IMO chrome mesh grilles look better on more imposing cars such as the Chrysler 300 rather than a car like the Soul.

the only problem i'd imagine having with the mesh grilles is the amount of debris they'd end up catching and holding (bugs etc etc.)

I've seen Souls with the custom grills and I even thought I'd like one on my own car, but when I priced them with a local guy who installs them and got the price tag, of $259 I quickly lost interest.

I'll deal with what I've got! $259 will buy a whole lot of beer and pizza! lol

I looked at the cost of stainless steel woven mesh and it's really expensive to buy, so I can see why these grilles cost so much.
