It's confirmed, we're going to Didsbury! ...Where the heck is Didsbury?!?

The annual All Make Show 'n Shine is happening in Didsbury Alberta on May 7th. Didsbury is about an hour North of Calgary and has been a local hot rodders spring tradition for years. There is an admission fee for entrants, a donation to the food bank.

While this is traditionally a Hot Rod/Custom car event, but I have confirmed with the chairman of the event that we are welcome to attend and that normally they would try to mix up makes, but if we arrive together, they will let us park together. (turns out I know the chairman personally) :D

It might seem funny bringing a bunch of modern Korean vehicles to what is traditionally an American Muscle Car event, but I kinda like that aspect of it, who knows, maybe a KIA will be someones dream car in the future. If the weather is good, they will get from 250 to 300 cars (less in poor weather) and all on display in Downtown Didsbury.

Here's the plan for Saturday May 7:

9 am - Meet up at Northland KIA, 5100 Shaganappi Trail N.W., CALGARY, AB (this may change depending on dealer ok)

By 9:30 am - On the road to Didsbury.

10:30 am Meet up with other members at the church parking lot just outside of Didsbury church - Google Maps

11 am - arrive Didsbury and enter event. (don't forget your non-perishable food donation)

Entry at this event starts at 9am and cut off is 1 pm, the events runs till about 2-3 pm.
Lots to see, bring a lawn/camp chair, maybe a picnic basket and some sunscreen(hopefully required).

Here's the event poster:
