I didn't know that when you plug in a iPod nano using the KIA cable that it will display the KIA logo on the screen.

Everyone post what you didn't know. It will useful for all of us to learn about out Soul. :)
Very cool - I don't think my itouch or iPad does that! I will have to double check. Good thread :). I will try to think of something....

Does it say "Katy Perry" too? If so I might have to go with an aftermarket cable. :p

I didn't know about the hill-assist in the manual base model. I don't really have any use for it and would gladly trade it for cruise control, but it does make the car a lot friendlier to those who aren't completely comfortable with a mantran. Confused the heck out of me the first time it kicked in!

Haha, that's awesome... I learned in another thread about Holding the Mode button down on the steering wheel to turn on/off the stereo. Thought that was pretty neat-o.

It does not. I bought my Kia cable yesterday when I scheduled my oil change... At least with my iPod touch it just has a back screen. That is pretty dang cool though!

I would have thought this thread would be longer then it is. Did you all know on the Plus+ model the "SOUL" pattern in the seat glows in the dark?
I just found out mine was a Plus.. I couldn't remember what the dealership told me it was...
I will have to check this out.. That's pretty cool.

I don't think the 2012 model does this. (Soul logo on seat)

Just discovered this recently when I went to check my washer fluid level, nice little hook that keeps the fill level out of the way when filling it with fluid. What a simple and good idea so you don't have to remove the whole thing to fill

ON the first one yes it still glows just not as bright as there are not as many "Soul's" on the seats.

Secondly that is not a hook it is a dip stick. If you pull it all the way out it will give you fluid level.

I know that, you need to read it again I said it was a washer fluid level, I was referring to the hook that keeps it on the side of the tube in that position as shown in the photo.

if you don't want your doors to automatically unlock when you put in park (like going through a drive-through for example), put it in neutral instead.
