I am thinking about going on Saturday and seeing what I can walk away with. I have my eye on the Soul! - but really would like to keep the pricing at or under $19000... I was thinking about going to the KIA dealership in Plano. Southwest Kia is actually close though - What kind of deal was to be had there? I am a current owner of a 2002 Sportage w/ 141k miles and with the Cash for Clunkers program arriving - it is time for me tot take advantage.

I believe everyone gets different treatment from the dealerships. I got treated well at both Huffines and Southwest. I would have rather bought my car from Matt or the other guy I dealt. I know the GM Phillip. They wouldn't offer me the price I wanted to pay. I went to Southwest and it took a short time to talk them down to the actual price I wanted to pay and would walk out with keys. I got an excellent deal and don't really know how I did it. I just went into Huffines Service in Denton today to have them put the new mood light switch in. Saw a few Souls on the lot. I love their service station they are the nicest people. I could walk to it if I had to.

I am sure that did help. I just sell ads for the dealership and deal with Phillip up there. They all fell in love with my other car because it was white with pink accents. (Which someone is driving I heard in the Ft. Worth area. Friend spotted it out. You couldn't miss it.) They told me and they were going to treat me right but I felt like the girl who didn't really know what she was talking about. I know so much more than most people about cars. I am so glad you John got a good exp. I wish I did because I feel bad going into the service shop.

I really like Mike. He is very nice and teases me when I have come in. He set up my appt. to fix the water leak I had. He questioned me about why I was changing my oil at 1000 and putting Royal Purple and why. I thought I had to have them do it to keep the warranty. Now that I know that I can do it myself but keep the paper work I will be doing that. I don't like anybody touching my car for whatever reason and would rather do it myself to save money. Now I have to have hail damage fixed and not very happy about leaving my car and not watch the people doing the work. PDR is some work that I will not bother them cause I don't have the patience for that!

Well I got it. A Black ! - Nothing extra for now. I have been browsing the interior LED projects that have been posted and have determined that this is my next step. I loved the videos and pics - and my only complaint over the weekend was that the back seemed to be missing on on the party in the front seat - but the additional lights under the seats would fix that. And so with that - what to name this little monster.
