Amen. There is no such thing as an unstealable car, if a thief wants it bad enough.
Amen. There is no such thing as an unstealable car, if a thief wants it bad enough.Yes, I agree. They’re basically just a deterrent. If someone wants to take your car, the club isn’t going to stop them.
Kia is sending you one? Very cool. Someone was just asking why 2010 models were excluded but maybe they aren't.Got one coming for my 2010 Exclaim, don't know if I will use it or not.
If you are worried about it take your car and the letter to the dealership and let them straighten it out. You obviously don't have an immobilizer, it's a mistake.Kia has made an apparent hollow offer to provide a steering wheel lock for my 2019 Kia Soul Base 6-speed automatic (which requires an honest-to-god steel key inserted into a turn-to-start keylock switch for engine-starting).
I received the following message from this linked site: https://ksupport.kiausa.com/consumeraffairs/swld
Our records indicate that your vehicle is equipped with an electronic engine immobilizer and is NOT equipped with a steel key and "turn-to-start" ignition system so it is not one of the vehicles targeted for theft by the social media challenge.
Information about the function of the electronic engine immobilizer is included in your vehicle’s Owner’s Manual.
