OK so I mounted everything fine and thought I wired everything fine but I can't get the Hella lights to turn on...

I did a voltage test on the headlight plug and found that pin 3 is for the low beams and that is how I was planning on wiring them. I spliced the yellow wire from the hella kit into pin 3.

Relay:
Yellow - I spliced this into pin 3 of the passenger headlight
Red - I ran this under the cowl and attached it to the positive terminal on the battery
Blue - I mounted this to a fender bolt that was bare under the washer
Black - I ran this to the hell lights and plugged them into the blue wires

Hella Lights:
Blue wire - Put this with the black wire from the relay
Black wire - Put this to ground.

Anyone have any ideas on what is going wrong?

My headlights turn on just fine, just no fog lights.

Are you hooking the wires to the relay or does the relay have wires coming out of it already? If you are using a 4 pin relay they should be numbered.

85 goes to ground (your fender bolt) make sure its bare and not primer.

30 goes to the battery

86 goes to your trigger, the low beams in your case

87 goes to your accessory. the lights you are trying to get to turn on.

I would imagine if the relay came with the lights and the lights have a blue wire, then the blue wire should go to the lights and black is generally the ground as it is on your lights. My guess without being there is you may have blue and black switched around.
