Find your phone carrier on the left, then find your phone in the list. It should tell you what bluetooth version it is down towards the bottom.

Ver 1.1 = Crap. Slow. Not worth it.
Ver 1.2 = "up to 721 kbit/s"
Ver 2.0 (without EDR) = "up to 721 kbit/s"
Ver 2.0 (with EDR) = 2.1 Mbit/s
Ver 2.1 = 2.1 Mbit/s + Enhanced Pairing + Enhanced Low Power Mode
Ver 3.0 = 2.1 Mbit/s + Enhanced low power data streams

I can't find anywhere the Bluetooth version the car has. Does anybody know?

AWESOME. My phone is V1.2 no wonder why it takes 2 minutes to download my 19 contact phone book. Good find!

My phonebook isn't slow to download but was interested to see what it says. I don't have the G1 google phone anymore but have the new version now Mytouch(which they don't show). I am gonna assume that it is the same.
Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR.
