September 25th through end of the month: A poll will be added containing the entered submissions. A voting poll will be created so that all members get the chance to vote on their favorite. The person with the most votes at the end of the month will be the winner for the month of September!

Submissions must include:

Add a Modifications list if you prefer

*Pictures must be of current state of car... only exception is winter tires. Parts currently for sale or waiting to be installed may not be included. If your wheels/retros/suspension/etc. are currently for sale, even if still on car, they cannot be listed in the mod list. Cars that are currently for sale may not be submitted. No "Future Modifications" either*

NOTE: Previous winners of Soul Of The Month may not enter the competition again until 1 year after winning.

This is a very significant statement and answers those who have issues with "stock" Souls winning. Often there are all sorts of detail things done to cars that don't immediately leap out at you and be obvious. Some of the greatest custom cars in the world are the ones where you're not exactly sure what was done, you just know it looks different.
In a way I agree. There are a lot of amazing and subtle custom cars. But that statement DOES NOT answer us who have issues with stock Souls winning. Really stock is any car that doesn't have actual performance modifications done to it such as suspension, exhaust, intake, etc..however I am very willing personally to overlook that if they have done a lot of other stuff to their cars. This does NOT include stickers, anyone can put a sticker or decal on their car and call it modified and in fact people do it all the time. I take issue with some of the yes STOCK Souls that have beat out people like JDM and I, if I was beat out by a modified Soul I'd take no issue with it but having a few stickers, maybe a bit of tint, and some new SLIGHTLY better wheels and tires than your stock ones is not okay to beat out someone who has thousands of dollars invested in their car and tons of hours of their own time, blood, sweat, and tears into their car. Sorry not sorry but that's how I view it.

Oh I totally get where you are coming from. It is logical Captain.

But it's a poll...........a vote..........and when a group of people vote the majority choose a winner and that may not be the candidate you prefer.

That's called Democracy.

The likes of the many outweigh the likes of the few.

In my personal opinion, we have never had a truly customized Soul enter or win SOTM. Every non-stock one of them is merely personalized.......but that's ok.

And because the changes are things of personal preference then it's inevitable that others may not like them. So they vote for a nice looking stock Soul instead. That probably happens because versions like the red on black Souls that have won recently look so darned good. If they're in the entry mix they're a good default vote.

New member and owner here. Bought a 2015 Exclaim with the whole Shabang 3 weeks ago. I love the car but recently inspired by some photos I saw from some European models... so I decided to add touches.

Just recently added black vinyl to the roof line, door handles, gas cap and wheel wells to accent the body lines and elements of the car. I also tinted the front windows and added a bug guard. I really love the enhanced look.

Looking forward to seeing more submissions!
Nice looking car, if you are submitting it for the SOTM, too many pictures. Three only. Good luck, I am sure you will hear from MT-ED about fixing this. :)

Yepper............I suggest you remove the third picture gonzilla717..........only 3 allowed as per the rules.
That edit didn't quite work Gonzilla, still showing four photos to me!
Nice entries!

Wow! So sorry you "lost", but you could just think "I didn't win this time". This isn't the "Modified Soul of the Month" poll or contest. If you feel you need some "real" accolades, then take your Soul to some car shows, surely there are some in AZ. Please don't be so quick to belittle those who can't afford to/want to put in "thousands of dollars/tons of hours/blood,sweat and tears" into their cars. This is not worth arguing about. Go spend some time with your car, it will make you feel better.
