Picking up my 2023 GT line tomorrow, and i spend a lot of time on the road. I know that it comes with a limited use spare tire, but I would like to buy a full size spare and steel rim to use in case of emergency they wouldn't require stopping at the next available tire shop . Will a full sized one fit in the tire well?

If it's anything like the first 2 generations it will fit just fine diameter wise. The tire is quite a bit wider so whatever shelf or floor covering you have above the spare will be pushed up a few inches.

We recently traded in her g1 and had that same experience. I don't mind switching it for a narrower Tire. Mainly I am wondering if the rim width will fit. I'm happy to choose something narrower as long as the diameter is the same and it's roadworthy at highway speeds.
