replaced the fuel door ...
got a bunch of items I ordered since taking possession of my Soul back on Jan 2 but colder temps have me waiting till weather warms up a bit before installing as most are stick/tape mounted. But did take advantage of todays beautiful day to put on the mud flaps and put on the new gas cap cover...
simple enough change...remove 2 bolts...take off old cover...

put on new cover...

all of 10 minutes... surprised I didn't find some way to even screw this simple install...
afterwards found myself contemplating finding something to do to with that area where the fog lite go...have no intention of installing fog lites...

so for now... a little different...did put in a set of weathertech mats I got last week.. a bit pricey but in the end I think worth it...especially with the amount of junk winter weather has me bringing into the car on my shoes/boots...
still waiting on a few more orders coming in from Korea and China...have found it does take a bit longer than what we in this country are used to... is what it is...
having fun tho personalizing my little girl... think the wife is getting jealous too...in the beginning thought I was crazy when I told her I was buying a Soul...but having ridden in it now...understands why I enjoy driving it. And really doesn't mind when another package arrives in the mail.. doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand she'd rather have me spending my money on a 2600 lb hunk of metal than on a 110 lb shapely ...well you get the jest of it....
anyhow...getting impatient waiting for the spring temps to arrive...want to dress her. Suppose to be warm again tommorrow...maybe I'll try adding another piece and see how it adheres.
FWIW...when I mentioned in an earlier thread about adding mud flaps someone suggested I go with the OEM from Kia...advised me that the other ones other than Kia while available on EBAY and cheaper, may require modding to make them fit right...so taking the cowards way out, ordered the Kia's and as told...easy install...didn't even have to remove the tires. How about that...a guy who actually listened to someones suggestion...of course the wife would never believe it..we'll keep it it between us...ok.
