Incase anyone was wondering, the Veloster poly engine mount inserts fit in the Soul too. I had to sand down the outside perimeter of mine, to get them to fit, as they were a bit too wide(I think it was just poor quality control). This is the anti-torque mount that sits on the bottom of the engine.

As you can see from the picture, the stock mounts are very soft and weak. I was able to squeeze the mount by hand. It's solid now tho!

The inserts are mounted in a 2012 mount and I installed the 2012 mount on my 2016... I put a Veloster solid mount on my 2012, so I had this as a spare. In conclusion, any 1.6L Veloster lower mount should mount up to any 1.6L Soul.

So you posted this also in the gen 1 section- it should stay here, and the pics you have in this one are better. :)

I put the poly inserts in my 2012 mount and put the 2012 mount on my 2016. I posted it on both so both generations knew it would work. I'm not a fan of people that post duplicate posts but I felt it necessary.

Yeah, still kicking. Haven't done much to my 2016...I blew flex pipe apart cuz I run my car hard, red line shifts and all. Haha

I was focused on my 3000GT for a bit, then had to have back surgery. Currently looking to buy a wrecked turbo Veloster to transfer some parts over.... ?

Awesome. Great true tech info either way- definitely going to do this for the wife's Soul. What was the torque value for putting the mount itself back together? Couldn't find it in a quick scan of the service manual, just the torque values to actually install the mount.

I didn't actually find that. It was on there pretty tight, I just ran it back down tight again.

Is there an insert available for the other end of the mount?
This one looks like it contains poly for both end:

But I'll probably order this (still haven't done it yet, been a busy few years):

Since it's 65A and not 75A like the first link. The Soul is still a daily driver for my wife, and she's not going to want the dash to feel like it's rattling apart. The wheel hop is getting really bad past 50k, so I think the torque mount is probably dead. 65A in one end and OEM in the circle end will probably be good enough for my purposes. I still want maximum comfort, just no wheel hop.
