Sir, I've explained how I did that, in detail, even with a picture (once), and every time I've been flamed for my efforts, so I'll just try to keep it simple. (KISS)
With the car powered up, press the ISG disable button IN, and then jam it with whatever you can get your hands on. One guy said he used a Toothpick. I used the corner off of the cover of a pocket note pad. Either way, as long as the button stays depressed, the ISG will remain discombobulated. ;)

But I do seem to stay busy, so I just let my dealer change my oil and filter, every 3k miles.
Even though it's 30 miles, I do enjoy my trips to my KIA Dealer. It's as much fun to this old guy, as a trip to Disney, and much cheaper. :ROFLMAO:
