I've got 90,500 original miles on mine and rather than waiting for them to go an d then paying for a tow and a shop to do the work, I'd like to change the belts at my leisure... but I'm having trouble finding how many there are, what the part numbers are, and most importantly what the procedure is. I'm talking about the drive and accessory belts... NOT the timing belt/chain.

All the info I'm finding is for the 2010-2011 Kia Soul 2.0L MPI motor... but my gen 1 Kia Soul Base 5-speed has the 1.6L Gamma II MPI motor in it.

I have a 2011 1.6 manual.

It only has 1 belt, it's very easy to change.
Hard part is getting it configured over all the pulleys the correct way.

Just pull the tensioner back with your hand take the belt off and put new one on.

My waterpump bearing went and the belt fell off
Replaced the waterpump and couldn't figure the configuration off the belt.
The maintenance book I have was wrong.
Found a hand drawn diagram on Google images that showed correct way.

Just take some photos before you start
