I noticed I lost one of my License Plate Lights over the weekend I figured it was bound to happen as the aftermarket remote start flashes the parking lights so it probably was more wear and tear on the license plate lights.

Question. Has anyone converted to LEDs on those bulbs? A cool white by chance?

If so where did you order them as I assume AutoZone and the other Locals are selling LED license plate lights.

I replaced the OEM bulbs for LED. It's easy to pop out the housings (one on each side) using a thin tool like a screwdriver. Took maybe 10min tops. Depends on how much grime you have that may make it harder to remove the pieces.

I bought a whole kit off of Amazon for not much money. Maybe $15-20 and it included LED bulbs for everything inside (and reverse lights).

I've had Diode Dynamics LED's installed on my 2010 Exclaim for several years, not one failure.

Awesome dude thanks. I noticed or preferred vendor seems kind of high. They have different tiers of lights like low brightness medium brightness and ultra bright so the 5.00 bulb order to get that cool white crisp effect it’s like 15.00 for two bulbs
