I agree with you but if you have a logo, it should be left alone for at least 50 years if you are succeeding. New logos turn folks off.
apparently Kia has signaled their intent for a logo change by submitting no less than 50 trademark registrations since May of this year.
The question now is whether the new logo will appear on all Kia vehicles or reserved for a select few or just for certain markets.

What Shaggy said. Unless maybe the conwelpic samples make it look like it is in Hangul (Korean), but I doubt that. At least they're not changing how it looks every six months, like they do with web browsers. IMHO usually the cause for change is somebody who's afraid it doesn't look like he does anything, to show the bosses that he's working hard.
Ford, GE, Chevrolet, Marvel Mystery Oil, Bag Balm haven't changed their logo in a century and they're doing fine (well, except for GE).

I once worked for a large corporation that kept an "efficiency improvement coordinator" on staff and paid him on commission. Flat rate for big ideas, bonuses for successful ones. ?

Kia isn't exactly an automotive brand that you associate with exciting design. We've nothing against its cars – they have plenty of decent qualities and certainly tick many of the right boxes you might look for in a new motor – but it's definitely one of the more functional marques. No teenager has ever plastered their bedroom wall with photos of the latest Picanto, is what we're saying...

Wave theory, is where it's at.
This logo would be nice, imprinted on a clear 3M hood protector. You could peel it off & replace it with "The K".

It begs the question: when these become available, would you swap out your old logo for this new one on your current Soul?
