When car has been sitting overnight or at the end of the day I can start it but you hear a sputtering/choking and then the engine revs up and will drive fine.

The throttle body and valve have been cleaned as well as the idle air control valve. Was told that the head gasket is getting worn. Started fine with no issues at the garage, then after driving home and parked for the night, in the morning when started it sputtered/choked again. The crankshaft was replaced when it was four years old.

Anyone experience anything similar to this and had it resolved?
