Nissan's have been the best vehicles I have owned......trouble free.....All of them.
My first one (1973) had no problems with original engine (1600) when I replaced it at 105,000 miles...
sold 4 cylinder and 4 speed trans to neighbor to use in his newer PL620.
Only issue was idler arm, alternator and carb secondary (replaced with a Weber).

My second one was a 1992 Sentra GXE, no issues for 100K+ other than alternator

My third is my 2016 Frontier 4WD with 75K and zero issues to date

And knowing that Nissan is part of the Renault family of quality products....well....nuff said.
That is scary!
They discounted a merger this year and the strategic alliance goes back to 1999.

In the '70s a coworker had a succession of Renaults... apparently no other dealers wanted them as trades! I helped him work on them. On one we completely rebuilt the motor and it was easy to work on as the cylinder sleeves came out and were exchanged.

I have owned Ford (2), Dodge (1), Chevrolet / GMC (6), Nissan (2), Toyota (1) trucks and all served well. The only one with any issue was a 2004 GMC Sonoma, crew cab 4.3 V6, 4WD. It developed cooling problems in stop and start traffic when it was about 3 years old. Only noticeable when traffic was backed up crossing Hoover Dam, coming back from our ranch, before the bypass bridge was built.

Only vehicle I have owned that I would give bad marks to was a 1988 Plymouth Voyager, 3.0 Mitsubishi V6. Great performance but coolant disappeared and the dealer claimed they could not find a head gasket leak. Started it up in Albuquerque after a December visit to in-laws, and it blew a cam seal. Not at all impressed with Mitsubishi.
