Here's a challenge...........Today, here in Canada, it's CANADA DAY.........the celebration of the forming of Canada as we know it. After only 2 entries in Soul Of The Month in June, I want to see if y'all Americans can come up with 4 entries for July's competition BY JULY 4TH. Come on, you know there's oodles of wonderful Souls in the 'States, so it's time to do your country proud and show 'em off! Of course, anyone else from anywhere can enter, but I'm challenging the US to show us 4 by the 4th!

Important Dates

Now through July 25th: Submission Entries. Please post your entries and pictures in this thread. (Submissions after 11:59PM on the 24th will not be included in the competition)

July 25th through end of the month: A poll will be added containing the entered submissions. A voting poll will be created so that all members get the chance to vote on their favorite. The person with the most votes at the end of the month will be the winner for the month of July!

Submissions must include:

3 photos; no more, no less. NO collages. Show off your Soul to its best advantage.

Add a Modifications list if you prefer

*Pictures must be of current state of car... only exception is winter tires. Parts currently for sale or waiting to be installed may not be included. If your wheels/retros/suspension/etc. are currently for sale, even if still on car, they cannot be listed in the mod list. Cars that are currently for sale may not be submitted. No "Future Modifications" either*

NOTE: Previous winners of Soul Of The Month may not enter the competition again until 1 year after winning.

I won't be all done for a few months sadly...but I may end up entering this month just because

it would literally be like the 24th when I enter though because I need to at least get my tint and exhaust done!

That helps. When I post the actual voting thread I try to include the biggest version of entrant's pictures I can for their benefit. Thumbnails don't cut it especially if someone is viewing the Forum on a cellphone.

Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of body kits, suspension kits, or other potential upgrades in the aftermarket for 2nd gen Souls. It's sad

Yeah, not much better for us 1st gens either. Hopefully other people and companies will see the potential these cars have and start making more stuff for them...people can make their car look real nice in the meantime though. Simple mods can go a long way. Like yours. Wheels look great and the blacked out emblems do too. I like yours a lot.

But I just get really tired of people entering BONE STOCK Souls to this contest. Some almost win too! It makes no sense to me at all. Also, mods list is just that. MODS. I saw people entering their Souls a couple months ago and putting FACTORY FEATURES as mods. Sunroof? Heated seats? UVO or whatever? Sorry, but not a mod. I don't mean to offend anybody or rant, but it's been eating at me for a very VERY long time. I'm not the only one who thinks it either. Anything that is "of the Month" should be special. Unique. But honestly, there is not much that is unique about a stock car...at least most of them. (Again, no offense, but it's kinda true)

Again, sorry for ranting, I've just kept it bottled for a long time and it's been annoying the hell out of me.
