I am looking at taking the Base Soul Audio system up a notch or 2 without a lot of work or expense (under $400).

I am not unhappy with the stock system but would like t give it a bit more performance.

The good folks at Crutchfield recommend the Polk Speakers for both front and rear replacement -Polk Audio DXi651s.

From another thread they recommend a sub woofer

Anyone have a 1st hand experience with either of these items?

thanks

Jack

Moderator could you move this to correct year forum.

Aside from that, you will need a Line Out Converter to tie in to your rear speaker wires to supply a signal to the amp. Its all personal choice. Mine has 2 Kicker L5 solobaric 10's on a zx1500 at 2 ohms with 2/0 welding cable for power and ground.
