I can see all your posts. Well, for the past few weeks its been 100oF+ in the shade everyday, heat index even higher, so cooling is important. Worst case scenario, they look a bit ghetto, but for a few bucks I can throw one or two of these for the back passengers on the back of the headrest:

Its just not as professional looking.

Those pics are worthy of a good laugh. I can see the rear passengers having all their hair ripped off by multiple cuisinarts. The two front dash grills are meant for air distribution to the rear seat.

They're usually not that powerful and have a grate so won't be lopping off fingers or anything. Fronts can kinda do the job, but most of the time you won't feel much circulation if sitting behind the driver and passenger, and just the flowing air helps a ton. Not bueno in Texas lately!

Just saw them on the internet and think they would be effective. At first I thought they were mounted on the rear seat headrests. And they are not expensive. Good idea!

Thank you, JSmith. for an idea that might work. I’m ordering a pair for my rear passenger. He likes the window open, winter and summer, like most dogs. So I hope the fans will satisfy him as well as myself. It’s not as hot in Northern Michigan as it is in Texas but the winters are cold. Heating or cooling a car is not effective with a wide open window. (What an illuminating scientific prognostication)
