Hello everyone, my name is Jeremy Zimmerman, and I just ordered my Soul at the dealer on Tuesday.

Well, first off, I'd like to say I've been lurking for a few months here off and on and like the way this forum is run so far.

A bit about me.

1. I'm a disabled US Army Veteran and recent college graduate from University of New Mexico with a BS in Geography/Geographic Information Sciences.

2. I work for the Bureau of Land Management out here in New Mexico as a Geographer and Geographic Information Sciences Specialist.

3. I'm an OLD hat in the Korean tuning world. I have owned a 93 Hyundai Excel, 1997 Hyundai Tiburon, and currently still own my 2001 Tiburon, and 2004 Kia Sorento. I recently retired from the admin side of http://www.rdtiburon.com .

4. I have a large Hyundai and Kia meet every year here in New Mexico, and will be posting more about that later. Hopefully we can get a good group of folks together.

What else?

Oh, I ordered a Kia Soul Sport, Titanium in color, with Power/Tilt Sunroof, Cargo Cover, Cargo Tray, and I think that's it.

I'll post more, and if you guys and girls would like pictures of my Tiburon or Sorento, I've got tons. I've won several car show awards, from third through first place, at the Nopi Car Shows with the Tiburon and Sorento. I'm retiring my Tiburon for a few years to work on it, and will be free to cross reference parts that work between them also.

Looking forward to feeding the addiction with you all.

Thanks for your support and the warm welcome.

Pics are coming, I've got a huge photobucket page full of, I dunno, thousands of pics.

Hahah, they posted up the COTY for this year too. The Tiburon was a great car, just didn't get the support here in the US it needed to survive.

Oh, I've got plans...

First up, build a cheaper short shifter for this ride.

Welcome from Idaho

Hope you enjoy this sight, alot of good information here. I'm also a disabled veteran from the USAF, my career covered from Vietnam to Bosnia and everything in between. Let me say thank you for your service, and be proud of it. I volunteer my time helping disabled veterans through the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Again I like my Soul Exclaim, Dune color. MY only complaint is the gas mileage is not what I think it should be.

Thanks everyone.

USAF, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your service, and your support of your fellow serviceman. Real heros never, EVER finish giving.

As for the DAV, what the hell do I have to do to get those envelope labels? LOL

I LOVE that dune color, I can never find it here.

As for mileage, remember, the mileage generated by CAFE is really strictly monitored. If you don't drive like they do, you won't get it. With all of my modifications, my Tiburon gets anywhere from 25 to 33 miles to the gallon.

Welcome! I thought that they were coming out with a short-throw shifter but can't find an update on it.

Kia Accessories

I also thought there was already a B&M that I saw somewhere but maybe that was just for the Accent.

Shark Racing Shifter Inquiry

Edit: Here is what I saw:

eBay Shifter 1

eBay Shifter 2

Edit 2: You said cheaper... got it. :)

Hahaha, now that's my sense of humor!

Actually, I saw that before, but never looked at the Accent pictures. Actually looks like it might work...

Lets see if I can pick one up, the B&M that is.

No problem.

Actually, I think I have one.

Should run about $134 or so. Just gotta get my Soul, and test it...

Info will be coming...
