Hey all! We're (SoulHamsters) in the process of planning a meet at the Grand Canyon for June 15th, 2013. So far we have about 5 confirmed going and 3 maybes... Here are the details...
Hotel Info...
At Holiday Inn we are provided with a friends/family discount, compliments of @Breezd over at SH.

On the right hand side for each hotel listed, it will either tell you what the discounted rate range available (depending on room type), or it will tell you if the "Friends & Family Discount" is not available (it will be in red, you can't miss it). Select a hotel with the rate available and make your reservation, fill in the form and bring it with you when you check in!
A few notes for you to be aware of... the Friends & Family rate is an "Advance Puchase" type discount, your credit card you provide will be charged either immediately or sometime before you check in (depending on the hotel). This type of discount is non-refundable, so make sure your dates are set in stone before making your reservation, cause you won't get your money back (unless you are really good at sweet talking the manager at the hotel).

The South Rim: Open All Year
The South Rim is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All visitor services: camping, lodging, and restaurants are available year round. Reservations are strongly recommended during spring, summer and fall. Some facilities close during the winter.
A free shuttle bus system operates in the Grand Canyon Village area. Make your visit easier by parking your car at the Visitor Center and using the free shuttle buses to get around the village.

Other fees such as reservation, camping, lodging, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
