I have a 2010 Kia Soul. Sometimes upon start up, the engine light turns on/off after I turn the wheel. What is causing this? I used an OBII scanner, but no error codes occurred. Thanks.

Only thing that jumps to mind is either a loose wire, or a wire that had had the insulation rubbed away next to another, and they touch when the wheel is turned.

The engine light can come on for other reasons than the engine such as the transmission can have codes in it that will trigger the engine light or the power steering system on the electric power steering models. You might want to have someone scan it with a scanner that will do a full system scan and can see history and pending codes rather than just active codes.
