Hello all. I'm looking at a 2014 Kia Soul ! with the "Whole Shebang Package." The one thing that I'm not sure about is whether it has dual climate control. I've seen mentions of automatic climate control. I'd go to the dealer but unfortunately the closest dealer doesn't have a Soul (haha) with the trim level that I'm looking for so I'm hoping to find the answer here.
No it is not individually adjustable side to side. It has dual levels meaning the floor vents and dash vents which was deceiving to me too. I was under the impression the driver and passenger each had their own controls like in other "dual" climate controlled vehicles.
I do love the ventilated leather seats though, thats the biggest reason I opted for the Whole Shebang.
I have to smile about the dual climate control with separate control for driving and passenger - I just wonder how effective it is in such a small space as a car. It's a bit like a driver smoking and saying its not going to bother the passenger :sneakiness:
Dual climate control actually works very well in many vehicles. My wife loves air blowing directly on her but not real cold. I don't like a heavy flow but I do like it cold so in some vehicles you can actually accomplish this. Disappointed in the Exclaim Whole Shebang, for the price there are a lot of features it is missing such as this , passenger side power seat, power seat memory for the drivers side and power mirror memory. This is pretty standard on most upscale packages. I would gladly trade the sunroof for all of these features.
