Allo Allo, Is there a way of dimming the dash lights at night? I don't think so.
Yes they do dim when you switch on the headlamps but they're still so so bright!

Merry Christmas all! :)

okay, someone who is not reading their owners manual page 4/33 :), on the dash to the left of the steering wheel next to the ESC button. What did you think that knob did? :D

Sorry Conwelpic,

He has a CRDI.... thats the diesel so he is a european owner and the european soul dont have dashboard dimmers....the control we have in the position you mention is a headlamp leveller adjustment.

you could try a bit of window tint material cut to shape to dull things, but it would take some doing to do a really neat job. The other solution would be to remove the plastic glass covering and spray some light lens tint on it, but it would be trial and error on the end result.

Let us know if you do fashion an improvement - cos all the euro owners moan about it.

Someone who is not reading the location info he is so fond of telling everyone to fill out!
can we put it down to a "senior moment" :D but still from that I am to know that the European light adjustment is not standard, it seems an odd thing not to have on the vehicle. That's like saying there is no washer fluid on a European Soul - strange.

Different countries different specs, why dont the USA and Canadian Souls have the high intensity rear foglights???...they are a massive safety feature in bad visibility.....legislation is ridiculous.

We don't get fog 363 days a year like you guys do. Also we don't need bright lights at the back because there is enough light there from the massive trucks that are constantly tailgating us.
