OK FOLKS! LET'S HAVE LOTS OF ENTRIES THIS MONTH!

Important Dates

Now through August 25th: Submission Entries. Please post your entries and pictures in this thread. (Submissions after 11:59PM on the 24th will not be included in the competition)

August 25th through end of the month: A poll will be added containing the entered submissions. A voting poll will be created so that all members get the chance to vote on their favorite. The person with the most votes at the end of the month will be the winner for the month of August!

Submissions must include:

3 photos; no more, no less. NO collages. Show off your Soul to its best advantage.

Add a Modifications list if you prefer

*Pictures must be of current state of car... only exception is winter tires. Parts currently for sale or waiting to be installed may not be included. If your wheels/retros/suspension/etc. are currently for sale, even if still on car, they cannot be listed in the mod list. Cars that are currently for sale may not be submitted. No "Future Modifications" either*

NOTE: Previous winners of Soul Of The Month may not enter the competition again until 1 year after winning.

AUG SOTM Submission: Smokin Red Zone in BBQ Heaven

Newly purchased Red Zone. 2 months in the family...1.5k miles.

Wife and kids are really enjoying this fun vehicle.

No mods yet....will look to switch to drilled/slotted rotors for the improved appearance and braking performance.

DJR...where did you get the red mirror wrap? Was it pre-cut to fit or did you cut to fit yourself?

Hate to sound like a smart ass .... But

Don't you think if it actually was turbocharged , that it would be front page news here , and one of the focal points of him entering for " Soul of the month " , and actually listing " Turbocharged " in his list of modifications .....

I know it isn't turboed. I kinda figured as much. It was just a question to lead up to the next question of "What is the point of the 'Boost Loading' sticker?" It makes no sense to me whatsoever. I know I may get a bunch of "it's a matter of personal taste" replies, but really, just think about it. Why put any kind of decal suggesting you have a turbo in a car when it does not.

Also not trying to be a smart ass

All wrapping was done myself from a larger sheet. Costed like 20$ on Ebay.

As you said, if it was Turbo Charged, it would definitely be put into the modifications list.

Paiiige, not only is is a "Matter of personal taste", but its more as a comedic Decal. It says Boost Loading 75%, indicating that its not at 100%, meaning there is no boost yet... It says Please Wait, as its for if anyone is tail gating you, being all pissed that your moving too slow, that they can "Wait" for the boost to come in, but obviously there is no boost. People always get this one when they see it in person, and always chuckle, not too sure why it caused such a big deal here. Never the less, Its my car, and I put on it what I feel is fun, funny, and suits the overall appearance that i'm going for. Thanks tho for the input.

It's obvious it's not turboed because he'd have said it, I asked because putting a turbo sticker on a car with no turbo it's just odd to me but that's me. It's not a big deal I'm just giving my opinion and I understand the joke.

And I'm not entering again, at least not for a while. I already lost to a near stock Soul once I'm not putting my car in again to just lose again to a barely at all modified vehicle it's not worth it. (No offense to those of you that have entered, I'm not trying to put down what you've done to your cars.)

See, that didn't click with me before. Now that you explained it, it makes sense and it is pretty clever. I really wasn't trying to be mean. Honest. I just really didn't understand it at first...

It's Canadian humour Paige. Our car's plate reads MYSOULM8..........on the lower right of the tailgate there's a chrome "M8" badge. People have asked me if it's a special edition of the Soul. I have two answers depending on my mood at the time.

1) It's my Soul M8 (mate)........(because I was born in England).

Then the Spinal Tap answer...........

2) You know that BMW have the "M" Series cars right? Well they only go up to 6. This is an M8........that's 2 better than a BMW.

Well, let's give this another shot!

Here's my 2010 Soul Sport, I've nicknamed the Toaster.

Current Mods:
Drag DR-19s (soon to be MSR044s)
Manzo Lowering Springs
APC ITR-rep Seat
Leds under the dash and seats, synced to the speaker lights
Kicker L7 12" sub for extra wubs
A few decals on the rear window
Rear wiper delete
Custom Exhaust, Blackworks 2.5" inlet 4" outlet muffler, deleted resonator.
Korean "K" Emblems
Neo-pearl Headlights, fog lights, and grill.
Edit; new blast pipe exhaust, rear wiper delete shown as well as my rear decals!
and still plenty more to come.

See but that makes sense to me lol it's like I have "DUB" under Soul on mine and people ask if it's a DUB edition Soul and I just say yes it's my own Dub edition Soul lol I also have an eat sleep rave repeat sticker...

And you've removed the rear wiper?

Sadly, no pics for the entry, but I will post a pic here once I get a chance to (; and yep! Rear wiper was removed, I never used it anyway, and since I plan on sticker bombing most of the rear window, there was no point in having it! I think in the entire time I've had the car (just over a year now) the rear wiper was only used once, just to see it it worked, haha
