I am currently using a walmart everstart 121R battery thats 3 years old and showing 11.7 volts so it needs replacement.

Ive read other posts about the 124r being a better fit, and it also has 100 more cold cranking amps than the 121r which is listed as the one for the soul.
Seems that people with 2014's and 2015's were using the 124r but not sure if that means it will fit the 2011.

Anybody ever put a 124r in a 2010 or 2011 soul orknow if the battery trays are the same as the 2015's?

Well to answer my own question it wont fit.
Measured with the battery in place and it seemed like it might fit. But unbolted battery and slid it as far as it would go left and right and see that you dont have enough room.
Doubt you could easily mod it to fit the large battery as the wire clusters are on easch side and dont seem to have much slack.

Ill just stick with the 121r.
