I would like to operate mobile VHF, using as much as 50W, from my 2014 Soul but am concerned about possible damage to the ECU, modules, and sensors caused by RF. Any sharing of experiences from fellow hams would be very much welcomed.

I haven't had any issues with my limited use of an 8W portable ham nor my basic cb.

I picked up the Abbree 18.8-inch Tactical Folding Antenna, and it has really improved my BF F8, I can now hit repeaters I could not with the 771. And receiving is also crisp and clear.
