Does anyone know where to get a replacement rear wiper blade for the 3rd gen? Can't seem to find one that fits cuz the mount seems to be proprietary. If anyone knows, post a link if you can. Thanks!

I know this makes me cheap. Typically for rear wiper blades, I buy a quality low cost front wiper, remove the “squeegee” insert from the new blade, trim to length and insert it into the rear wiper frame. When i was less grey, you could buy wiper blade inserts at the parts store. Sadly I think they have gone the way of the user replaceable battery in cell phones.

I've seen the Bosch on Amazon that says it's for the Soul but it doesn't even look remotely similar. But I can try it. Didn't want to buy one from Kia cuz the original didn't last very long and was streaky since day 1.

If it's anything like our Gen 1 was, you can get the complete wiper assembly with blade at the dealer for $10-$12 and replace it yourself in about 30 seconds. There is a "special handshake" required - lifting and then twisting the wiper arm - but once you figure it out, it's easy.

They last a couple of years, so the price is very reasonable. Our Gen 3 has only 5,600 miles on it, so I haven't checked about replacing it yet.

On my Gen1, at a certain mileage, my Dealer installed all new wiper blades for me, for FREE. At my forthcoming Oil Change, (21k) I'll ask about that.
Even if I have to buy the blades, I'd just as well they put them on.

Here in FL, I use my wipers almost EVERY day.

Just go to your local Kia dealer for one. My dealer charged under 15 dollars for it. Saves the headache of trying to find elsewhere.

Yes, it's called a KIA Dealership. Specifically, the Parts Dept.
But why does that warrant a new Thread in the forum?
The individual asked a question, probably because they wanted an answer. They may not have easy access to the Kia Dealer, as in distance. Whatever their reason, they deserve curtesy, not someone cutting them down. I don’t know if there is a moder of this site, but I would hope there is. Please be courteous, and if you have nothing to add that is helpful, then shut up.

Yes and you won’t believe where I got one. Go to a tractor supply store. Was thr only place I could find one the right size.

I am aware I can get one from my dealership but I don't want to get the same OEM one because it did not last very long at all here where I live. Lots of road salt this winter and it tends to rain just enjoy to stir the grime up on the road and it just coats the back of my car with a grimy layer so I have to use the rear wiper a lot. Was wanting a blade that's possibly higher quality than the OEM one.

My 2015 rear blade, is beginning to deteriorate. I will need to replace it sooner than later.

Interesting enough, my fronts are also still the original wiper blades. Since I wash and vacuum my car twice a week, that includes wiping my wiper blades free of grit and grime. The fronts seem to be holding up well.

Of course it hardly ever rains in sunny Southern California. I've only turned on my wipers a couple of times since I've owned my wagon!

But, when it rains it pours.

When I replace those wipers. I'll try for the silicon replacements. I've heard rumors,
they last twice as long as OEM.

Not sure if there is an advantage for you to use the silicon replacement blades--your original ones are 5-6 years old--hard to believe that replacement ones will last 10-12 years.

When I replaced the rear wiper for my '16, there wasn't a whole lot of choice, either OEM or some weird cheap offbrand from Autozone. Went with the Valeo for 6.99--not sure if it will fit the 3rd gen.

While at my dealer, last week, I priced OEM Rear Window Wiper Blade (1). $7.95 was the parts man's reply.
In almost two years, and using my wipers almost every day, I still don't need new blades, so I didn't buy one. (y)
