Hi everyone,

Wondering if I can fit 215-65-16 BFgoodrich All terrain K02 on my stock kia wheels on my EV?

I drive loads of dirt road and I want something more aggressive.

Thank you all for your help

Welcome to the forum.

I don't know what the standard size tire is for this car, but as long as you have a 16 inch wheel it doesn't sound unreasonable to install these tires for what you want to do.
A couple of things to consider:
The aggressive tread might be a bit noisy on pavement?
The rolling distance of one rotation between the two different tires (circumference) could make the speedometer read slightly different?
Of course they need to fit in the wheel wells without rubbing also.

I don't know if this helped, just some thoughts on the matter.

215/65 should fit fine. A few members have put 235/60-16 on with no issues, with the stock wheels. 215/65 and 235/60 have almost exactly the same diameter, and you'll be skinnier- so shouldn't have any clearance issues. You'll be on the stock wheels, so your offset won't change either (centerline of tire vs wheel well).

I am wondering if you did this? We just bought a EV+ to replace our Jeep, live in the country and was wanting to put the same tire on our EV for good traction in the snow. If you did this how did it effect your range?

I seent a guy say that the 215-65 is pretty much the biggest you can go if nothing stock changes. I'm looking at some 205-65 right now for my offroading usage. One day I'll try and add some struts to get me 2-3" lift. but that's for another thread/day

This was just for the pic. Had the Jeep in the shop and thought it would look cool. No way it would turn with these.

That's my next size- I'm running 235/60-16 on wider wheels with no fitment issues. 225/65 is next to match the diameter of the new spare I picked up, and truly max out the wheel well!
