I was following instructions from this thread http://www.kiasoulforums.com/29-how-diy/12638-2012-base-keyless-entry-install.html to install keyless entry on my 2011 base model Soul when I shorted something. Not sure what, but somewhere, something touched that shouldn't have. Now my door locks only work when the ignition is turned on. When the key is turned off, none of the power locks work.

I removed the keyless entry system and still nothing when the key is turned off. Also, never got the keyless entry system working, either. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, after a couple more hours of Googling, I found the answer. I blew the 10A fuse in the weird protected fuse thing. Replaced that fuse, hooked the RKM module up and voila, it all works.

Exactly what 10a fuse did you replace? I've got he same thing happening.
