  1. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
I decided to replace my donut with a full size spare. However, the storage divider doesn't fit with the larger tire. Does anyone have any suggestions for storage to make up for the loss of the tray? Thanks
  2. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
I know, another spare tire question. Sorry . Trading 2010 (18" wheels) for 2019 (17") wheels. Keeping donut kit from the 2010. There are different kitts for Gen 1 vs Gen 2. Does anyone know what the difference would be? According to manuals tier size ((125/80D-16) and wheel size (4.0T x 10) are...

Hello, I’m new and joined looking for information on putting a full size spare in a 2016. Wondering if anyone modified/cut the styrofoam cargo tray aka (Cargo Box - Kia (85725-B2100EQ)) up. I see the dealership sells them for around $150 and $70 for shipping. $220 seems like a lot to chop up...

As already posted on this forum, a full size wheel and tire (205/60R16) fit into the well easily. The cargo tray can be cut down with a carpenters saw (slit the back pad first with a box cutter). Us a 2 x 4 (3 1/2" high) to mark the foam with a marker and cut. Keeping the cargo tray in position...
  5. Soul Problems (Gen 1)
So 2 weeks ago I looked in the spare tire area and found 3+ inches of water in it. Got it all out and didn't see any where it could be coming from. It rained again and again I had like half gallon to a gallon of water. Dried it out went underneath and smeared rtv silicone on over the grommets...

On the 2019 Soul (or the 2018 since the ‘19 Is brand new)... does it come with a spare tire? If not, is there a storage spot below the trunk to store one if you buy one? Donut or full size?
  7. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
I'm 75 and definately "old school" so my recent 2016 Soul purchase had one troublesome deficit. No spare, not even a compact version. Just a bottle of jelly and an air compressor:frown-new: So I looked here to see what others had done. Most dealt with getting the compact spare kits from the...

  9. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 1)
I've been looking around for a cheap spare tire solution for my 2012+. From what I've been able to discover, the 2010-2014 Optima spare has the same wheel and tire specs, and I imagine the tool kit would have to fit. Anyone try that yet?
  10. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
ive been through all the searches, and was wondering if anyone can point me to a spare tire kit that will fit in the back of the car? thanks for looking.

I got an oil change the other day, while I was waiting I decided to browse the showroom. The new model Rio was there and tho and behold the topline model hatch had a compact spare in the trunk. Maybe KIA is rethinking the concept of inflation kit Versus a spare tire. Pat.
  12. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
Just to our 2016 Soul didn't come with a spare, just some fix a flat nonsense. The tire in the spare tire kits is like a "donut" tire, and can only be driven on at certain speeds, correct? I know it's purpose is to get you home until your tire can be repaired, but curious of the...
  13. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
I know this has been discussed several different ways before, but I can't find a direct answer to my question. Will a 2013 spare tire/kit fit a 2015 Soul? Has anybody tried physically? I think the tire may be smaller, but will it work? Thanks!!

Hi: We were wondering if we should purchase a spare wheel, tire and jack assembly for our 2017 Kia Soul Exclaim with 18" wheels? Perhaps, we should just use the Kia roadside assistance program when the need arises. What are your thoughts?

Hello! I purchased the compact spare for my 2017 base model/ manual transmission Soul. The dealer part number for the kit and tire were: B2F40-AC900 (kit) UKH16-12580T (tire) However, other sites show part number B2F40-AC900 as for a 2014 - 2016 Soul, giving part number B2F40-AK900 for...
  16. Soul Tire & Wheel (Gen 2)
Hello all, My commute is a total of 120 miles 5 days a week. I dont feel right not having a spare if i were to experience a blowout, or a random flat and don't want to rely on a tow. Kia wants 150 for a spare donut kit and that doesn't include the tire. I feel that a full size wheel and tire...

Hi, In my new Soul LX 2015 i didn't have spare tire, only a pump! My brother give me his spare tire of his old mazda3 2005 before he send to the scap. The wheel have the same bolt pattern of my kia Soul it fit #1 but it's a 15" only! Is it dangerous to drive this 15" spare tire if the...

I have spare tire from Honda Odyssey 2000. Size T135/80D16 101M. (Regular tire size P215/65R16) Could it be used for Kia Soul EX 2016? (P215/55R17 regular tire size). Bolt pattern should be the same? Diameter of a regular wheel for Honda is about 1 sm more then of a regular wheel for Kia.

Hi folks, new to the forum (although lurked here for a while before finally picking up a new 2016 Base M/T in Alien II over the weekend!), thanks to all for all the useful information I've reviewed here. Already have plans to do the cruise control add on project as well as the switch to...

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could tell me if there are any other brands that make spare tires for the Soul. I went to a tire shop and they told me that a donut from a 2006-2013 Hyundai Sonata or a 2007 Hyundai Azera would fit the bolt pattern. I only need a donut since I've got the rest...
