    I got 36.7 MPG over about 320 miles on the fill-up the dealer gave me (2012 base, 6-speed MT). I still had 1/4 tank, so I figure the car has about a 400-mile range. Both the MPG and the range are a lot better than I was expecting, especially because I wasn't especially driving for MPG this time...

    After researching several cars, I ended up purchasing a Base Kia Soul Dune Auto with the 16 inch alloy upgrade. We also test drove the + and it did have a bit more power, but the only thing it offered that the base didn't that I felt we needed was the armrest, so I have one of those on the way...
