    Question Where's the radiator drain plug?

    Finally figured out the correct coolant to use for my 2012+. Figured I'd do a drain and refill, so I got underneath the nose but can't find the drain plug anywhere.

    Found a diagram online but it's so sketchy it's of no use.

    Incidentally, pet**** is the proper term, but apparently, vBulletin thinks it's profanity. Yes, I learned it in the 70s from that notorious porn publishing house, Chilton's.

    It's easier (and safer IMO) to un-clamp the lower radiator hose and pull that out (with a big drain pan below).

    In the pic below, see the drain valve:



    Be gentle, if that plastic breaks, you'll need a new radiator.
    Also, if you move that old valve, it might not seal back properly and leak under pressure (hot engine).
