Thank you again for contacting us at Kia Motors, America. As of right now, Kia does not have any plans to include Sirius XM in the lower trim levels of the 2020 Kia Soul. It will only be available on the EX and GT-Line Turbo trims.

We do thank you for your interest in our vehicles and we apologize for any inconveniences. We hope that all of the other wonderful features and performance options that come with a Kia will help you with your future decisions!

    Sincerely,
    Kia Motors America

Thanks hypecat for checking on this and sharing the response.

Too bad it's a rubber stamp answer. Sounds like zero thought went in to some type of work-a-round for owners who appreciated onboard XM.

Do you think you'll put one of those ONYX receivers in yours?

PS: I noticed the Telluride, Sportage & Optima have XM across all trims. I wonder what Kia's logic is there?

I have no idea... The lack of XM may be a deal breaker for me. The add on units, well, I really want it integrated. I would guess that SiriusXM would pay for any additional costs for the receiver/antenna but that is just a guess.

Logic? Seems like a lack of logic to me!
