    Gen1 18s on my 2015 Base

So I scored a great deal on some NOS Gen 1 silver 18s. Having them powder coated in gloss black for 1/2 price as well, then they're going on my 2015 white Base. Anyone know if the offset or backspacing is different from Gen 1 to Gen 2? Went with 225/45/18s at all 4 corners. Just need to find someone to program the TPMS sensors I bought.
I'll post pics when all done.

Anyone else do these wheels on their Gen2?

The gear ratios change with the stock wheel sizes on some models. If you are going to 18s replacing the stock 16s, your odometer and speedometer will change their readings. So you should look to see if there are 18 tires to match your 16 diameter. Good luck with that, probably not possible. Other than that, any Soul wheel should fit any other Soul from any year. Just make sure you know how much your speedometer readings change (there are web sites that sell you tires that can give you the info). You do not have to program your TPMS, it will reset itself first time you start it up after the change. Reprogramming is a myth.

Yes I am aware of the circumference - and the 225/45/18 tires are about .01" different than what is on it now. The TPMS issue is a myth? Well that's good! Thanks!

How are the new tires going to link to your TPMS system if they're not programmed?
They won't. Unless you use your existing sensors which is probably more trouble than getting new ones and programming them.

I put 2016 OEM Optima take offs on my 2015 Soul, and the error light never went off. Black elec tape.
